she also wasn’t that good of a wife (changing for firemen, flirting with the yoga instructor) 😭 they were both flawed but they were such a good couple; he knew parts of her nobody else did, comforted her and vice versa. they were realistic and flawed, not perfect, and that’s why they were great together 😞😞

Mind you he's never done anything to intentionally hurt ANYONE. On the other hand, basically every single episode, Claire had an "I deserve this" moment and disregarded everyone else's feelings, especially Phil's. There's a whole episode on how Phil felt like a neglected housewife and HE ended up apologizing to HER.
