If it weren't for a Punky Brewster PSA I wouldn't have known that myself and three other siblings were being SA-ed by my great grandfather. No one told us what that was. We went to Catholic School. It saved us from a few years of abuse. I will always thank Punky Brewster for this!

I was exactly her age and obsessed with this show. Why was all the trauma normal for me? All the shows had teachable moments that were super traumatizing and we just thought that was how it goes!!
