If they haven’t by now, then probably not. Memories of him and Jackie, might be to painful for him, Jackie was his sole mate for life. He may move away and that’s why Jackie and Shadows daughter, Spirit, has been at the nest everyday. Belongs to her now.

I have read that there could be a possibility of them making a new nest somewhere else in the territory. I also read that when an eagle loses a mate then gets a new mate. It’s up to he or she to use the same nest or start new with a new nest. I don’t know if that’s true but I guess we just wait. Watch and see what happens. I hope they come back. ❤️

I watch 3 other eagles live cams as well & they are at the nests everyday making adjustments & adding sticks. Everyday. One bonded pair already has their first egg. I just wish we would see S&K more often. In the nest. Making nestorations. I know every region the timing is different but, but, going on mid November & they still aren’t spending any time in their normal stomping grounds. 🤞🏻Hope they come back soon. If they don’t, is it likely another pair will take over the nest? Is it possible the nest could be empty this season?

It got to be before egg laying time. they have to prepair the nest. And I believe their going to work as a true bonded pair and chase this intruder out of Big Bear . She's over stayed her welcome.
