@maxhastingsjohnson: The Ferris wheel, the arcade, and the Scary Dark Ride. If you grew up around Newport, chances are the Balboa Fun Zone was part of your childhood, too. 🎡 For the first episode of Newport in 1 Minute, I’m starting somewhere that holds plenty of memories for me. Since 1936, the @Balboa Fun Zone has been part of growing up, visiting, and spending a day on Newport Harbor. This series is my way of sharing the history and stories behind the places I’ve known my whole life. What do you remember most about the Fun Zone? #NewportIn1Minute #BalboaFunZone #NewportBeach #NewportBeachHistory #BalboaPeninsula
