So funny enough 30 years ago I was told by my dad that he raised a "heifer" for a couple months after being told by my grandpa it was a heifer. Didn't realize it wasn't until it got loose one day and kicked up it's heals and caught a glimpse that it was in fact NOT a heifer lol it was a bull. For reference we had a small farm too but my dad just fed and cleaned around it and never looked close 😅.
