if y'all are making this but don't want biscuits - 1 stick of butter (melted), 1 cup of milk, & 1 cup of self rising flour mixed together & poured over the top (9x13). baked until golden. it's how we've made it for generations & it's so good every time.

I make the cream of chicken too! game changerrrrr for flavor. if you ever use a rotisserie chicken... I use all the fat stuff that sits at the bottom in the cream if chicken and omg its good

Im so dumb I was like oh I’ve never had chicken pot pie with potatoes. Looks good anyway. then when you made the rue, I was confused when you brought out the half n half forgetting that was milk and was like why’d she use that and not milk.
