Everything is normal but get a hysterectomy? That makes no sense. I am sorry.

I’m so tired of being dismissed when walking in at 25. Like why would I willingly pay you my $90 copay that I already can’t afford for you to not take me seriously? Healthcare has to change

Okay, first email the specialist to kinda make sure all info you got was correct according to your scans. Then ask them to document in your chart all of the concerns you arrived with and spoke to them about along with all of the responses they told you. Go ahead and summarize the visit and provide direct information. Then ask them if they have a fellow colleague that also shares the same specialty as they do to actually do their job of diagnosing your issues. When they have to document anything, the vibe changes. Never back down from advocating for yourself. I’m sorry this is happening. I hope you find not only answers but solutions as well. 🫶

I didn’t have endo diagnosed beforehand but I have been in pain for years. I got the hysterectomy and for the first time in my life I’m not in pain. They did find endo when they went in.

Advocate for yourself! It took my going to 6 different drs and finally paying out of pocket to figure out I have severe anemia related to my monthly cycle. Ablation is scheduled for next week. I’m sorry this happened to you. It happened to me too.

Went to the OB finally after 3 years and she actually heard my concerns and is starting with bloodwork to get the ball rolling to rule out underlying issues before we go deeper into ultrasounds and what not. I’m so sorry you’ve been dismissed- I pray you find a provider who genuinely wants to help like mine is doing. 🫶🏻
