I lost my soul cat two months ago. I’m still shattered. I’m holding it together as well as I can, but when the home gets quiet I lose it. I sleep with her urn, it’s screwed shut so I’m not worried about it spilling everywhere, I genuinely can’t sleep without her. Trust me I’ve tried everything. I know I’ll make it out of this eventually but I want to ask people who have also lost something so special, what did you do to get through this? Small things to make the grief lighter, big things, anything.

PRM taught me that grief for a pet is not pushed aside just because they are a pet. My tuxedo, Oliver was the best thing that ever happened to me. I lost him three years ago and I'll never be the same. Thank you for letting us grieve with you and know we are not alone when it comes to our babies
