@hardawaylearning: Manokotak! Thank you, KMO! ❤️ What an awesome time I had in your village! Thank you for allowing me to connect with the community and the youth over three incredible days. I had an absolute blast, and this was easily one of my favorite stays of all time! The kids in Manokotak have such a bright future ahead of them. So energetic, enthusiastic, and well-mannered! They treated me with nothing but kindness and respect every single day, which always makes for an amazing youth empowerment event. This was my first time visiting the Dillingham region, and one thing I always love about traveling throughout Alaska is experiencing what makes each community unique. Manokotak was nothing short of amazing! A huge thank you to the Southwest Region School District for bringing me out and giving me the opportunity to spend time with these wonderful kids at Manokotak Nunaniq School. And a very special thank you to Principal Lacy Davis for taking such great care of me. The admiration and respect your students have for you speaks volumes. I can see how much those kids love you, and I know they’re in great hands. I truly appreciate the relationship you’ve built with the young people and the community. Thank you for everything! Manokotak is at the top of my list of villages to return to! Mark my words, I WILL BE BACK! I have some big plans for 2027 to revisit some of my favorite communities, and KMO is definitely one of them. Can’t wait to see you again, KMO!
