About 3/4 of the way in, anybody recognize the actress who played Darren’s old girlfriend Sheila on Bewitched?

My grandma had naturally red hair and used the Fancifull brand to enhance it as her hair color faded through the years. I had always wanted red hair and I remember as a young adult using it. I think it’s such a good idea for people that don’t really want to bleach or use harsh chemicals on their hair. But I had no idea they use those vivid tints. I was just talking to my hairdresser today about how I wanted purple or pink hair but I’m a light brunette and I don’t think I’d get very much intensity. Maybe I should try it.

My mom had beautiful, silvery, prematurely 100% gray hair from her 30s.She vehemently did NOT approve of coloring your hair,(NICE girls didn't!) but she used Fanci-ful judiciously and religiously to keep her hair from yellowing.

they now make a similar product but it isn't very popular. have you seen the color spray, color mousses, on-color and gels. it's essentially the same thing.
I think people now use these for Halloween.🤔
plus can you imagine being caught in the RAIN?!😳
also everyone wants the real deal now especially since we now have all these REPAIR treatments (like olaplex & k-18) that weren't available then.

As a hairstylist, I’ve used it on clients for years, & occasionally on myself when I’ve gone from very light to medium w/my own color, after a semi-permanent toner fades out

I used Roux when I was growing out my gray. Worked great! I could paint it on with a brush as a root touch-up and it wasn't all stiff like some of the sprays & sticks.

Of course being raised by a hairdresser & beauty school instructor in the late 60’s-70’s I played with all of the rinse colors…just for kicks tho not to wear out. I did sometimes seriously use a light violet rinse (by about age 12) if my highlights were a bit brassy. The thing is that the rinses only showed up on light hair like blonde or gray but not effective much on darker hair. I have used mouse form rinses a time or two, as an adult, to be a red head or brunette for a day!

I mean, I used glintz from Clairol and I use a similar product “color gloss up” to tide over between professional colors or amp up the color usually redder or burgundy

Not exactly, but used semipermanent once. It was black and it did not come out!! I tried to bleach it out, which was a disaster and ended up having to spend a ton to get color corrected. It looks really cool for a few weeks though!

When I was in high school, I would occasionally rinse my hair with a pot of coffee. It made it shiny and gave me sort of auburn highlights. It was good for photos but my hair smelled like a coffee so I had to wash it out the same day.
