I could tell he was highly abusive in season one. I know what it is like when someone is one way to you behind closed doors and puts on a different image to the outside world. That is exactly what he was doing. The way she was having such a hard time keeping it together is what it feels like when they have drained so much out of you. My heart goes out to Jen. I hope she heals and finds herself and falls in love with her own life and her own self.

Jen is complex but I always saw her actions on the show as someone’s cry for help. For example, when he victimized her in season in Vegas, she carried that into her other relationships and conflicts with people and if you watch with a clear lens it was always a cry for help, she just never could articulate herself
