it's because of stability and emotional intelligence, the older a man gets the more stable they are typically. also around the age of 40 men change from being high libido to be more cuddly, women around 40 rise in labido but don't want to be touched in a cuddly way. so basically they reverse sexual priorities. now I am only talking typically, results may vary and some men never mature. there have been studies published on it.
