My service dog throws my blood pressure monitor at me. THROWS IT. And forget faking a problem in order to train. He will take one sniff and give me the middle finger.

I have story despite not having a service dog. This happened back when I had fainting spells often. Idk how sensitive their noses are but I was walking around and I passed a service dog. I asked if I could pet and the person said yes. Suddenly he started to alert. Turns out he was trained for fainting spells and I was about to have one. He booped me so hard I bruised cause I didn’t know he was alerting till the person mentioned it.

My retired SD alerts me, while the new SD also alerts me, then they alert anyone in the house and the cat. Love them to bits.

I trained my dog to stop my anxious scratching and to knock my phone out of my hands if I am too absorbed in it (ADHD). I went out of town for work and my husband got a mosquito bite on his leg. Addy kept snout punching him and pawing him until she eventually did it while barking. He got out his phone to text me about it and she knocked it out of his hands. 😂 I got back to the hotel to a message saying "Your dog won't let me fucking scratch."

Fun story time: before I was diagnosed with a brain tumor, I had one focal seizure. My dog at the time was laying next to me, became alert then did those snout punches on my arm. Then the seizure hit. He was just a pet, never ever trained for that, it was instinct to him. That’s insane to think about how they know! 🥰
