The term “Lukewarm” is primarily regarded as believing that you don’t need Yeshua. More so a sense of spiritual pride and it’s not that we lose all of the desire to love these things of this world, the main thing is that the Love and respect we have for Jesus grows and we turn away and use the power that is bestowed into us per the Holy Spirit to turn from the things that don’t glorify Christ. Continue to check your hearts daily and lean on our risen savior God bless anyone reading this🙏🏿.

I’m lukewarm as well and I’m definitely trying to unlove this world and the things in it but it’s soooo hard 😭 I definitely can relate but we just gotta keep praying and picking up our cross everyday. He will eventually guide us into the right direction and create in us a clean heart 🫶🏽

Loving the world and struggling with sin does not make you lukewarm. Lukewarm means you are self reliant and self righteous. Non of which you seem to exhibit. I think the word you are looking for is compromised

I disagree I think Christians have been trained to think wanting or liking material things are bad and not of God and that’s not true or biblical at all. God made all these things for us to enjoy it’s only become a problem when we put it above Him

this is what we need HONESTY, we have to be honest about our stance in Christ, everybody tries to put up a front like their walks with Christ are just so beautiful.. however walking with Christ will leave you a whole mess, you’ll fall short, fall back, fall off, get back up, back on track, and then sometimes the cycle repeats. Thankfully though God gives us grace and mercy because he know we human w/ fleshly desires. You got this boo 🫶🏾.

I needed this message this morning! I woke up with a strong conviction. As I was listening to my audio book, Contend, God pounced on my heart. There’s a part in Chapter 2 that talks about the people taking their books, their livelihood and burning them in the street. I thought this was so profound because they literally and figuratively blew up their old lives to completely surrender to God. Now, that message is weighing so heavy on me. It definitely made me realize, I too am lukewarm. I too try not to gossip, I try not to lie, I try to be obedient, I try to let God lead me, I try, I try, I try……I pray that God moves through you and clears the path for you to see where He wants you to be, clearly 🙏🏾

I used to relate. I would say keep on staying close to the Holy Spirit. The flesh will always be active but Remember he is your friend. The same way you are being honest with us, share this with him. Ask him to reveal the root and pray. One day those desires will be gone, it’s apart of the journey Galatians 5:16! Don’t mean to sound religious but fasting and feasting on the world helps!! Being intentional about blocking distractions for a set amount of time and dwelling in his presence is a game changer🫶🏾 Staying rooted in a spirit filled community helps too for iron sharpens iron.

Baby you are not luke warm !! you are a believer who struggles with sin which we all do! a Luke warm Christian is someone who says they believe in God but do not live by God. The only thing God wants is our heart , our obedience, willingness to repent, the desire to know him, and our commitment to follow him even when it get hard and you basically just said you do all of those things just because you struggle with sin does not make you luke warm keep praying and believing and he will deliver you from everything you struggle with !
