The kind of dinner that makes staying home sound even better 🤍 Creamy crockpot chicken and gravy over buttery mashed potatoes—simple, cozy comfort food for the end of a busy week. Save this for a night you need dinner to be easy! 🍽️ CROCKPOT CHICKEN & GRAVY Serves 6 Ingredients: • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts • 2 packets chicken gravy mix (about 0.87 oz each) • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz) • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth • ½ tsp garlic powder • ½ tsp onion powder • ¼ tsp black pepper • 2 tbsp butter • Mashed potatoes, for serving Directions: 1. Place chicken in your slow cooker. 2. Whisk together gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Pour over the chicken and top with butter. 3. Cover and cook on LOW for about 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until the chicken reaches 165°F and shreds easily. Timing varies by cooker and chicken thickness. 4. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the gravy. 5. Serve over mashed potatoes with green beans and warm biscuits. 🤍 For thicker gravy: Remove the cooked chicken, stir in 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp cold water, and cook on HIGH for 15–20 minutes until thickened. Return the shredded chicken to the gravy. Taste before adding salt—the soup and gravy packets already contain plenty! #crockpot #crockpotrecipes #easydinner #EasyRecipe #comfortfood
