I’m confused on how everybody that’s commented on this video doesn’t realize that pilots don’t just get up in the air and choose where they wanna fly and just be flying around anywhere. If you’ve ever seen any video games where you’re supposed to fly and it gives you a box you fly into that’s how it is for pilots. They’re just giving a route and they have to make sure the plane is in between inside these boxes and that’s their road. They can’t just decide I’m not gonna go through this storm. They have to take it up with air traffic control because the amount of planes that are in the air at different altitudes I’m coming in at different directions. Have you ever looked at a plane radar app where you can see all the flights in the air at one time it gets really congested over land and over airports because it’s a queue you have to get in line and you have to fly in a box over top of this Aprt and then you slowly go down and altitude as you’re making this box when they say you can come down it’s a line so when the person at the bottom lands, the person above them can come down and fly in a box and the person above them can come down. It’s a line so , in this situation, it was already rough. Icy she asked for a better ride that’s why they told her to start climbing but with no further right they can’t turn any further right because of traffic so she had to climb. They climbed like 300 feet and then started descending and then she caught out their descending 20,000 ft./min. with a 60° banking. , I’m confused on how y’all don’t understand Pilot just can’t choose oh let me turn and go around this big ass cloud because then now they’re gonna cause a crash between them and another aircraft🤦🏻♀️oh my god.
