@miyoko.mochi: 🌸The exhibit Sacramento Japantown: Destroyed by Design at the @Sacramento History Museum explores the history of the Sacramento Japanese American community, from its early beginnings to WWII incarceration and the urban redevelopment projects that ultimately displaced it. Through historic photographs, personal stories, and family artifacts, the exhibit preserves the memories of a neighborhood that was deliberately erased from the city’s landscape. As a Japanese American from Sacramento, this history is especially meaningful to me.
