This is so true. I'm content before living my life (I live in a highly urbanized city). I really thought before that my city is somehow somewhat on par with the capital city. I am currently in the middle ground, part of me wants to move for a short time and see if it could work and if it doesn’t then I can always come home but then I think about the privileges I have like amount of annual leave vs example Korea and japan. I’m lucky to get 25 days am I really ready to give that and other things yet I dunno

perspective is so fascinating because at the start, my mind went to having this feeling after my one month trip to Korea. then you mention the society in Korea and it just goes to show that variety is the spice of life because life in Korea may seem great to one person because it's different for them, and vice versa for their home country, even if it feels mundane to them
