@the_sound_of_truth: We would like to share the story of Eric Liddell, a Scottish Olympic champion whose heart remained deeply connected to China, the country of his birth. After winning a gold and a bronze at the 1924 Paris Olympics, Eric returned to China, where he devoted his life to teaching and serving its people. Even in the darkest days of #WWII, while interned in a Japanese-run camp, he continued to teach and help those in need, bringing solace and hope to those around him. He died in the camp in 1945, aged just 43. A remarkable life of dedication and compassion, remembered with affection and respect in China to this day.
