@abdimarihotmarbun: Come with me and our eldest son to visit St. Francis of Assisi's tomb Almost a year ago, our family somehow managed to take a trip to Italy. During our time in Assisi, a bug decided to hit different members of our family at different times. On this day, it took out my wife, daughter, and our youngest at the time. So, our eldest and I decided to take a little adventure. Our apartment was about a 20-25 min walk from St. Francis's tomb (it was also a 2 min walk from St. Carlo Acutis). This visit meant so much to me. I randomly decided to participate in St. Michael's Lent that year. I almost gave up, but I learned that St. Francis actually started this devotion. Even though the timing of our trip didn't line up with the end of St. Michael's Lent, I was motivated to finish and pray the last prayer at St. Francis's tomb. Aside from this, it was a special moment for me and our son. Our son may not even remember this day, but for me, it was a great day with just him - I remember thinking "man, it seems like he's getting older and bigger so fast nowadays." That walk for me was long yet so quick at the same time. I hope and pray there will be another day we can make this walk again together or with one of our other kids.
