@whistlewipeout: Friday practice at Interlagos. Verstappen has been complaining about the downshifts all day – "unacceptable, these downshifts" was the version from the first session – and stand-in race engineer Tom Hart tells him there's nothing the driver can switch to fix it. Hart: "We have nothing on the switch, but they are adapting to you." Verstappen: "Uh, what does that mean? I have to speak to the engine myself?" Hart: "So they should be getting better." Verstappen: "I think I should be like 'Oh, clutch, I'm switching! You'll be punished otherwise!'" He boxed six minutes early and still ended the session third, around two tenths off Kimi Antonelli. Red Bull strategy chief Hannah Schmitz said he'll get a different steering wheel for the rest of the weekend.
