@maomin.v2: In 2013, two American rappers named Pacman and Peso travelled to North Korea to film a music video for their song Escape to North Korea. They raised over $10,000 through a Kickstarter campaign to finance the unusual trip. During their five-day stay, they filmed various locations in the country, including the streets of Pyongyang, the subway, famous monuments and even a rice farm. Since North Korea is one of the most isolated countries in the world and has strict rules regarding filming and media, the project was very unusual. The video was released in January 2014 and attracted attention because it showed a rare perspective of North Korea through the eyes of two American rappers.
