@miriamo25: I keep Grand Ams alive by tracking down the parts they don't make anymore — and the answers, when the part is hiding in plain sight Grand Am turn signals not working? Grand Am owners ask this one constantly: first they light up solid and won't blink… then one day, nothing at all. Before you buy parts, know this: on the 1999–2005 cars your turn signals route through the hazard switch — the flasher itself is built right into that switch. The order: fuses, bulbs — if both check out, the hazard switch is suspect number one. And there's a tell: press your hazard button. If your dead signals wake back up, the switch just confessed. GM recalled some of these cars for this exact failure (bulletin 04098A). Now the part owners mix up: phantom clicking from the column, with the signals working fine, is NOT the hazard switch — that's the turn-signal stalk switch, a different switch with a different fix. Dead or solid = hazard switch. Clicking ghost = stalk switch. That split joins my free Grand Am Parts Guide on Friday, November 13th, 2026 — the guide is free, and the link is on my profile. #Pontiac #GrandAm #GrandAmGT #CarRepair #CarsOfTikTok
