@alex_kirshner: Matt Rhule got a contract extension so he could go out and do this four weeks in a row #NebraskaFootball #Huskers #GBR #CollegeFootball

user296991551829 :

Maryland would be drooling to have a coach like Matt Rhule lol

NilsB71🇺🇸🆘 :

Nebraska will never be a major power again

Aron Sanders :

This is so sad. We need to stop paying coaches these high ass contracts and stop extending until you get 8 wins or more. They need to let go Dana Holgrsen. worse play caller ever. This is Embarrassing for Nebraska

Blossom :

Outback Bowl slander will not be tolerated. Pinstripe Bowl MAYBE.

Wesley Ronne :

You said it, we operate out of fear.

Jblee7.62 :

Don’t come! I live here and I’m not even a fan!

GFunk :

Since they signed Colandrea for 2027 he’s played subpar. No INTs last night but when they needed him to come through the most he didn’t

Ampsand888 :

I have a feeling even if they could have made different decisions they would still be 5-4 or worse with whomever they would have chosen. I do think it is less the coaching staff and more of the players who chose Nebraska at this point.

gttrip20 :

I’m glad you clarified at the end Alex because it’s highly possible they lose out and avoid a bowl altogether. And I say that as a fan

Desertgolf11 :

The state needs a new coach , bring back Bo

Samuel :

both nebraska and matt rhule made horrible decisions. he should’ve left for penn state when he had the chance, and they should’ve never gave him that contract extension.

Brady Van Hove :

Matt Rhule is not a good head couch he has proved that in college and the NFL

Buffedel5 :

This is the same thing that led to Zombie Wilcox at Cal, he turned down the Oregon job so they gave him an extension - oops!

Trev James :

It’s cause he is best friends with the AD. The Nebraska board who hired Troy Dannen should be to blame.
