@dogood4dogs: ‼️EUTHANASIA SCHEDULED 11/9/26‼️ Zucchini finally got the same chance his brother had - a shot at having a family of his own. He was recently adopted, and the family described him as super kind, 100% potty trained, and both cat and dog friendly. Unfortunately, they had to return him for having focal seizures. During these episodes, he would low growl, so they felt it was unsafe for him to be around their other pets. The owner described the episodes as more dysphoric than aggressive. Zucchini also has a mast cell tumor on his hind leg. The shelter vet recommends a neurology consult to see if there’s anything that can help Zucchini with the dysphoria during the seizures. If that’s not possible, it is advised to place him in a home with no other pets or small children. Additional information in comments.
