@nbahighlighttapes: Alperen Sengun is quietly reminding everyone why he’s one of the best young centres in the NBA. 🇹🇷🚀 The 24-year-old Turkish big man is coming off back-to-back All-Star seasons, and there’s a very good chance he’s making it three in a row. Through the opening games of the 2026-27 season, Sengun is averaging 22.4 PPG, 9.1 RPG and 8.1 APG, shooting 54.1% from the field. He’s not just scoring and rebounding either; he’s becoming the engine of Houston’s entire offence. His passing ability at his size is ridiculous. He’s got the footwork, post moves, touch around the basket and basketball IQ to make life difficult for practically anyone defending him. And when teams send double-teams, he has the vision to find the open man. What’s even scarier is that he’s doing this alongside Kevin Durant, without needing to dominate every possession. Houston is looking like a serious contender, and Sengun is a massive reason why. If he keeps putting up these numbers while leading the Rockets to wins, there’s little reason to believe he won’t be an All-Star again. Three-time All-Star Alperen Sengun? It’s looking very likely. 👀 #alperensengun #houstonrockets #nbahighlights #nbaedits #nbafyp
