I did some research and found that eating while looking down seems to put a strain on them. Raising the food tray slightly might make it easier for him to eat. Cold food can also cause pain, so it’s best to warm it up to about body temperature. I apologize if you already knew this. I hope Clarence feels a little better soon. It’s starting to get cold, so please take care of yourself, too🙏✨

my cat doesnt like churu either she doesnt really like any of the tube treats but she does love these! especially if he likes cheese he might take to it i would suggest putting it somewhere he cant lick it away

Our old kitty Bugsy likes Churu one day, it helps her finish the food. The next day she doesn't like it and I have to toss the whole bowl 😭

Churu literally saved my cat life when stomatitis made her stop eating. Even with constant veterinary assistance, she was nearly a skeleton. Churu was the only thing she would eat until the issue was finally resolved . She is fat and happy, now!

When we had really picky cats at the SPCA and they wouldn’t eat we’d give them low/no sodium canned tuna. The picky ones always ate that. Maybe that’ll work?
