![I wanted to make this file easier to see, so here’s a poster about MKULTRA Subproject 012, Psychoactive Chemicals from Medicinal Bark. The surviving file gives the stated purpose as: Isolate and investigate the chemicals responsible for the biological activities of materials present in the bark of Piscidia Erythrina. The surviving records run from March 18, 1953 through September 1, 1954. The researcher or contractor remains redacted. The location remains redacted. The named CIA monitor or monitors were Sidney Gottlieb and [REDACTED]. The CIA index lists 45 internal documents, 152 reported pages. The current mirror contains 152 pages. What I think deserves more attention is this: The subproject treated beliefs, culture, identity, loyalty, or personality as intelligence terrain. Its scandal was the quiet redirection of social science toward identifying, recruiting, assessing, or influencing human targets. #TargetedIndividuals #V2K #MKUltra #MKUltra149Series #BiologicalWarfare #DeclassifiedFiles](/video/cover/7700705671020285215.webp)
