@resistance_never_quits: The home where I belong Otose's bar is a home that healing wounded souls. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #family #gintoki #gintama #kagura #sakatagintoki

Gh_12Mazk :

I love this moment, its where his stoic mask breaks and has to actually run like it depends on his life, well mostly because Otose is a sort of a anchor to his life(Similar to Shoyo).When he sees her sliced up by Jirocho, his mind breaks and he completely turns into a bloodlusted animal,(Its where you see his main conflict with Shiroyasha vs himself, gintoki. Ultimately Gin-san loses the fight exactly because of his bloodlust, showing his human side is the thing that makes him thrive in the end, not the monster he thinks he is, because at his core, Gintoki was never a monster, he was a deeply traumatized child, and eventually a man waiting to die because he lost everything. Losing Otose to him is like Gintoki quite literally facing the deletion of his life.) its a really great way to show what happens when you take a away a humans anchor from their life.

Looking back there was so much foreshadowing building up to 4 Devas Arc. The little panel shots with Gintoki and Otose.
