He makes a point; however, it's based upon the assumption we wouldn't be able to comprehend the basic of this system in 20 years. I do not understand the physics, material science, engineering, piloting of an airliner, but I understand the basics of it all, and have the ability to learn further.

whats the problem of not understanding? we all live in a society where we only understand our field of work or any other subject we put at least hundreds of hours in. Most people dont understand how cars, microwaves, fridges, or medicin works and we use them everyday. Removing human mistakes can improve our lives a lot 🤷
