@thisisalchemista: Designed by Buchner Bründler Architekten, this house, located in Linescio, Switzerland, is a transformation of a 200-year-old structure that originally served as a facility for drying chestnuts. The house retains robust stonemasonry walls from its previous agricultural use. An inner box made of reinforced concrete was added, carefully poured layer by layer from the roof. The building relies on the natural insulation provided by its two layers: the outer stone and the inner concrete, eliminating the need for sophisticated insulation systems. .
