Also Pietro isn’t eating. He’s almost never shown eating, and if he was it’s not enough for the accelerated metabolism he has (“he’s got increased metabolism” in the clip). Its pretty well known if you don’t eat a lot you slow down, its even a common game mechanic for many games. Meanwhile X-Men’s Quicksilver is almost always shown eating when hems not actively saving people (and even when he is). So basically its a mix of fatigue from fighting multiple times and lack of sleep (he’s also mainly shown awake over at least a couple days), lack of oxygen from height, and lack of food mixing together to slow him down

Easy explanation, he was supposed to stay with fox in the X-men but they needed him for Wanda so they introduced him and killed him off which helped create Wanda’s character and allowed fox to keep him.
