@katiecouric: History didn’t just happen Tuesday night. It made a grand entrance. From the first Black woman elected governor to the first Native American woman elected to the U.S. Senate, voters broke longtime political streaks, ushered in a record number of women governors, and helped send more than 100 Democratic women to the House. The history books are going to need a new chapter. 💙 📷: AP Newsroom, Getty

Thrilled for the results across the country, but so disappointed in my very red Tennessee state. Jerri Green would've made a wonderful Governor!💙💙💙

Abdul is my new Senator 💙 we have a Super Majority with Democrats winning the Governor's seat (* Governor & Lt Governor both women) Secretary of State and Attorney General ... we will hold the majority in Congress & the Senate ...we flipped Michigan's state's legislative Congress blue 💙 and held the Senate majority as well ... both my state legislative bodies and federal legislative bodies reflect what should represent all of us - diversity ... without a diverse ecosystem- nothing survives 💙💙💙 Let's Go💙💙💙
