Was at the game so was not getting to see as many angles/replays. However I felt Scotland potentially rubbed the ref the wrong way early in the game at the lineout so perhaps got the wrong end of some 50/50 calls but as the game went on particularly the second half that feeling went away and in general I felt the ref was very good. I think it just came down to the ABs being better than Scotland both individually and as a team. The Jordie Barret collision with Kinghorn was I felt even if it was head to shoulder Barret didn’t make any effort to get low at all so I therefore don’t see how it wasn’t a penalty.

I would argue AB didn’t sort their discipline. When tuipolotu went off I do not understand how they didn’t get a yellow for tackling with no attempt to wrap, somehow got a line out with no look. Then a head on head tackle where the defender had to go off for a HIA? Clueless. If steyn had caught that ball could have been a completely different final 30

Scotlands front 5 lacks serious depth especially the front row! Cummings is world class, but the forwards just are not big enough. Fagerson and Schoe have been overrated for a few years scrummaging imo

Think you’re missing the fact referee called it in favour of New Zealand the whole game one of the worst referee performances from Andrew Brace (shock) was at the game and every call went there way numerous of NZ’s score came from dodgy refereeing calls and how about no penalty or yellow card for Jordie banging heads with our players and stopping the game when our player was through. Scotlands first half performance shows enough that it was the referee who lost Scotland that game not NZ being worlds ahead.

Two fabricated first half yellow cards against the All Blacls in a desperate attempt by WR to try and stop NZ from winning or getting a bonus point win was the most notable aspect of this dominant display by NZ.

I am pretty suspicious that we re all going to be rather bored of maul tries soon. The rule change has gone too far, they need to balance it. Maybe only allow one stop rather than 2 before having to play away or something.

I think as much as the ref was questionable, we most certainly would’ve lost the game regardless. The second half from us was a shambles, and too many pens given away. Anyways, a good day out to see the all blacks live!

Andy Brace pinging scotlanf but letting the ABS get away sith the same stuff. he was woeful. Jordie B should of been off. and the jackal in the 65th min what mead to their pen and last try was terrible

Agreed they outclassed us and we definitely looked tired after 60 mins but i felt the ref definitely called the 50/50s in NZs favour, also what’s your thoughts on the barret head to head which wasn’t even looked at by the TMO?
