The issue is trying to get Luke to inherit driftmark over Vaemond LUKE ISNT ACTUALLY VELARYON Vaemond is the rightful heir it’s exactly the same as Cersei having her children inhert Robert’s throne it’s a Bas* claiming a title they have no right or claim too lol

Exactly the claim to the Throne came from Rheanyra. The father could have been whoever. It’s Lucerys claim to Driftmark that comes into question, but again it’s not the same bc Leanor KNEW and CLAIMED THEM as his. The modern equivalent would be Lavender Marriage.

Yes, unlike Joffrey, Jace shares blood with the heir or monarch, but that doesn’t matter because under Westerosi law bastards don’t inherit even if one of their parents is the heir or monarch.

Joffrey wasnt the heir through Cersei. And Robert had no idea of his parentage. Laenor knew of Jaces and he was the heir through Rhaenyra who was his mother. its not the same.

Rhaenyra was the heir and future queen. Robert was the king. Jace is biologically the son of Rhaenyra making him her heir does not matter who the father was whether it was Harwin or Laenor. While Joffrey was not biologically related to Robert being the product of Cersei and Jaimie which made him not the heir of Robert.
