Hakuna shida kabisaa, hapo kuna mambo mengi, unaweza kuoa asiye na mtoto lakini bado akazaa watoto wote nje ukahisi wa kwako, kumbe kazaa nje, na unaweza ukaoa mwenye mtoto akakupenda akatulia mkazaa watoto wengine mkalea kwa pamoja bila ubaguzi. wengine hawana watoto lakini tayari wametoa mimba kadhaa, kwahiyo kama umempenda mtu na mnaendana, unaoa tuu.

"“You’re seriously sparring with me?” Staff Sergeant Jake Turner asked, his laugh cutting across the combat gym louder than the gloves hammering against the heavy bags. Sergeant Emma Carter stood barefoot at the edge of the mat, her hands already wrapped and her face composed, while nearly half the room turned to look at her as if she had somehow entered a world where she was not supposed to be. The sounds of training did not disappear immediately; instead, they faded away in uneven pieces. One heavy bag continued swinging after a final strike, while a jump rope slapped the floor once before suddenly falling silent. Two soldiers beside the wall stopped halfway through their drill, both looking from Emma to Jake and then back again, almost waiting for someone to announce that the entire thing had been a misunderstanding. Fort Liberty’s close-combat gym had never been built for comfort. The air smelled of canvas, rubber mats, sweat, athletic tape, and old metal, while bright fluorescent lights covered the room in a hard white glow. Unit flags hung along the far wall, and several worn gloves sat on a bench beneath a sign reading TRAIN LIKE IT COUNTS. Emma did not glance at the sign. Her focus remained completely on Jake. He stood close to the middle of the mat, shoulders loose and a confident grin already suggesting he believed he knew exactly how this would finish. He was taller than Emma, broader across the chest, and known around the base as one of the strongest fighters in the program. He carried the comfortable confidence of someone who had been praised repeatedly in rooms full of people who hoped to become exactly like him. Jake rolled his neck once, and several soldiers started laughing before he had even spoken again. He looked around the gym as though he were giving everyone permission to enjoy what they were about to see. “She won’t last thirty seconds,” someone called from the benches. Another round of laughter moved through the room. Emma heard every word of it, but her expression never changed. Jake walked toward her slowly, taking one measured step after another until he was near enough that his shadow crossed her face. He lowered his voice, though not enough to make the comment private. “Go back to the office before you embarrass yourself.” A few soldiers reacted quietly under their breath. One murmured, “Damn.” Emma kept her gaze locked on Jake. There was no anger in her eyes, but there was no fear either. Somehow, that bothered him more than either response would have. Emma tipped her head slightly. “Do you always talk this much before training?” The laughter around them faded a little, although it did not disappear. Jake’s grin tightened at one side. Jake repeated the word with a small scoff. “Training? That’s what you think this is?” Emma stepped onto the mat. It was a simple movement, yet almost everyone in the room appeared to notice. Jake looked down at her bare feet, then at the tape wrapped around her hands, and finally returned his eyes to her face. His expression made it obvious that he had already placed her into a certain category, and he clearly disliked the fact that she was refusing to behave the way he expected. From where most of the soldiers stood, her plain Army training shirt, regulation shorts, and absence of visible rank gave them no reason to assume she was important or deserved any special treatment. Her hair had been pulled firmly back, her breathing stayed measured, and her posture looked almost too comfortable for someone preparing to face Jake Turner in front of a crowded gym. That was exactly why the soldiers continued smiling. They confused stillness with hesitation, silence with nerves, and Emma Carter with someone who had entered a place where reputation mattered more than actual ability. Jake lifted his hands. He gave her another confident glance. “Last chance. Nobody’s going to think less of you if you walk away.” Emma quietly adjusted the tape around one of her wrists. She looked
