I have my cousins 14 year old son we have had him since he was 3 .. I had a very similar interaction with his mother last year. It is so very heartbreaking. I feel for you Dallas and David 💕

As an adult who was adopted, finding the birth family isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Our family is our family who love us and raised us period!!!! My birth “mom” found me a few years ago when my own daughter was going through a mental health crisis. Birth “mom” needed a relationship with me that I didn’t emotionally have in me to give her. She was all bothered that I couldn’t give her anything. I said ma’am you gave me up as an infant & I have my own family who needs me. You’re amazing family for him and you are all he needs.

I had this exact same experience! She reached out to us in our 20’s and literally just stood there being disrespectful and not taking any accountability. I was in shocked because did you really reach out to meet us in person just to justify herself 🙄🙄
