I live in Poland and when the police arrived they js disappeared somewhere and didn’t even help the people that were laying on the ground bleeding to death. I’m genuinely terrified of going out to the grocery store or the mall bcs you never know what might happen

Me and my boyfriend were on our way to the main square where it happened but we decided to stop for a coffee before we got there, and we had only arrived in Krakow about 1pm today. We got to the main square not even 5 minutes before the gunshots started and were about 200/300 yards away from the shootings. We thought it was fireworks at first and quickly realised it wasn’t and everyone in the square were running everywhere and piling into buildings, shops etc to hide. Honestly the most horrifying experience of my life🥲 It if wasn’t for us stopping for coffee we could have been exactly where this happened and god knows what! Thoughts and prayers to the victims, their families and everyone who was affected💔
