@cinemaoccupy: Mark Ruffalo wants Hakeem Jeffries replaced. Over 500,000 people signed the petition he shared. The Change.org petition calls for an open vote for House Speaker instead of Jeffries, the Democrat in line for the job after Democrats won the House in the midterms. Jeffries told MS NOW voters "don't want us to get even." In an Instagram video, Mark Ruffalo said justice "means the law applies to all" and named Citizens United, stock trading in Congress and tech money in elections. "This is not a time of getting even," he says. "It's a time for getting real." Actually, the petition is at 1,012,125 signatures as of 11/7/26 at 13:23EST. I don’t know if Ruffalo started another petition, but I signed this one on Wednesday after the election and it was actually created two months ago. It seems to be the one with the most traction and news coverage as of now.

My thoughts exactly. Law and order is what a government is supposed to take care of. Government by the people for the people. They broke the the law and the law should make them pay. Lock them up.
