The dark side of drinking that I was able to hide really well - even from my own husband.  Before I got sober, there were times when Jorge would buy a case of beer, and it would last him almost several days. But for me? I’d almost finish a big bottle of gin in just one night—leaving about enough for one more drink. I’d tuck the nearly empty bottle behind something, hiding the truth from both of us - because let's be real, I wouldn’t remember it either…  The next day, I’d go to the liquor store during my lunch break, buy a small bottle, & drive home to top off the big one. That way, when Jorge came home, he wouldn’t notice how much I had actually drunk. But I knew the truth, & that quiet shame chipped away at me every day. That was my life—sneaky, lonely, & caught in a cycle I didn’t think I could escape. Every day, I pretended that this was all normal but deep down, I knew it wasn’t. Because if it was normal, why did I need to hide it? 🤔  When I finally decided to stop drinking, I wasn’t just giving up gin—I was leaving behind the guilt, the exhaustion, and the mental gymnastics of trying to hide my habits.  And what I gained? It’s indescribable. My days are full of laughter, connection, & joy—without alcohol clouding it all. I’ve discovered how fun & freeing an alcohol-free lifestyle can be, which is why I’m so passionate about helping women enjoy their life without
