I’m really struggling with grief right now. It’s coming up on 22 years since my mom passed. 3 days after my birthday. When she died, my autistic brother came to live with me, and still does. He not only lost his mom, he lost his lifelong companion 💔 his birthday is tomorrow and I’m trying so hard to make it the best day for him. I know we both struggle this time of year, and so I’m trying to just be there for him to get through it, but ugh my heart. 22 years and it feels like she just died.
