@hsk_studi0: A country superstar from Oklahoma and a Canadian hockey player weren’t exactly the most obvious match. Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher met in 2008 after being introduced backstage at one of her concerts. There was an immediate connection, but also a practical problem: they lived in different countries and both had careers that kept them constantly busy. They made it work. By 2009 they were engaged, and in July 2010 they became husband and wife. A lot has happened since that wedding photo. Carrie became one of country music’s biggest names, Mike finished his NHL career, and they became parents to two boys, Isaiah and Jacob. Sixteen years into their marriage, the young couple in love has become a family of four — and they’re still choosing each other.
