Cut the cheddar cheese into small pieces and stuff each bread pocket with approximately 30โ€“40 g of cheese. 3. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add salt and black pepper to taste, and pour in the milk. 4. Whisk the egg and milk mixture with a fork or whisk until well combined. 5. Dip each stuffed bread slice into the egg mixture, coating both sides thoroughly. 6. Heat a frying pan over medium-low heat and add vegetable oil or butter. 7. Place the stuffed bread slices in the pan and fry until golden brown on one side. 8. Carefully flip each piece and cook the other side until golden and the cheddar cheese inside has melted. 9.
