"Hey You" Pink Floyd "Hey, sen, orada, soğukta Yalnızlaşıyorsun, yaşlanıyorsun Hissedebiliyor musun beni? Hey, sen, koridorlarda duran Yerinde duramayan, gülümsemesi solup giden Hissedebiliyor musun beni? Hey, sen Bana hiç umut kalmadığını söyleme Birlikte ayakta kalırız, bölünürsek yıkılırız" Hey You "Hey You," a parody of the second part (disc 2) of Pink Floyd's 1979 cult concept album The Wall, depicts one of the most intensely felt moments of the dramatic and psychological breakdown of Pink, the fictional rock star who is the album's main character. The Song's Concept and Story In the album's overall story, Pink gradually severs his ties with the outside world and builds a metaphorical wall around himself due to childhood traumas, an authoritarian education system, a failed marriage, and the pressure of fame. The song "Hey You" begins at this breaking point, when Pink angrily puts the last bricks of that mental wall in place after his wife cheats on him. However, when the wall is completely built and he is completely isolated from the outside world, Pink suddenly panics with the horror of the deep loneliness and claustrophobia he experiences. He realizes that he is trapped behind the wall, that no one can hear him. Throughout the song, Pink seeks a way out, a helping hand, by addressing those outside (those freezing in the cold, those on the road, or ordinary people): Hey you, out there in the cold Getting lonely, getting old Can you feel me? (Pink Floyd) The Song's Main Message and Ending Written by Roger Waters, the song emphasizes the destructiveness of human isolation and that humans can only survive by standing shoulder to shoulder with others. At the end of the song, Pink accepts that no matter how hard she tries, she cannot overcome the wall, that she is trapped in a mental decay, and that there is no escape. The song is remembered for one of the album's most famous and striking mottos: "Together we stand, divided we fall." #CapCut #pinkfloyd #rogerwaters #music #song
