@sharp.wildlife: Stopped in Great Smoky Mountains National Park this fall and lucked out twice—catching the tail end of the elk rut and a mama black bear with her three cubs foraging in a white oak tree! 🐻🍂 .. We experienced our first Smoky Mountain "bear jam" together (and learned about "fog jams," which we were grateful to avoid !) …and met a ton of wildlife photographer in the field that were great to connect with. .. It wasn’t easy filming through the thick branches, so we were lucky to be set up at the exact moment one of the cubs scrambled right up behind its mom in a little clearing. #SmokyMountains #BearJam #BlackBear #WildlifePhotography #NationalParks
