For any sort of real enterprise it will take a long time. You need requirements from all relevant business units. You need to consider the schema and its impact on downstream applications that use data from the crm, Things like financial systems, analytics. How will they interface with the data layer. Will there be api’s. Connectors built for integrations. What are the security requirements. How does it scale. What are the networking requirements. How does existing data get loaded in. There is so much that goes into enterprise software. The coding may only take a few days with ai once there is a full design. But that design will not be easy even using ai.

Lots of people have built it there are a ton if small firms doing it for their niche. I personally know of at least 3 fortune 500s vibecoding their own salesforce replacement internally

claude treat all past present and future edge cases while considering inputs from all departments and yeah also apply per company specific features but keep things modular and scalable. don't forget per region legal compliances/standards. when you finish, fix all bugs. also fix any resulting devops or caching issues that will come after applying patches. thx. make no mistakes. 😁

Depends on what you want it to do. A basic CRM is easy. It’s when you start piling onto it making it so convoluted to the point of dynamics or salesforce is when it takes longer.

Nah it’s really fast if you know what you’re doing. I’ve rebuilt several iOS apps at this point to replace subscriptions I was paying for. Most I did in 1 day for a functional version

I built almost an entire public records website in a few hours the first time I used Grok Bot. I made improvements over the next few weeks. Published it last night. It’s great but it’s also not very complex. It would take a fair amount of time for something complex while testing it property.
