I condensed my roughly 11 mile drive into about 90 seconds so you can see the road and surroundings. If you’re learning your way around South Huntsville and Owens Cross Roads, this is a connection worth knowing. Depending on your starting point and traffic conditions, it may give you another option when your usual route is blocked. Check live navigation before choosing a detour. Along the road you’ll find Hobbs Island Shooting Range, Forrest Paddle Boarding and Hobbs Island Pit Stop. Near the Memorial Parkway end, you can turn off for Ditto Landing, with boating, camping, walking and biking trails, and access to the Tennessee River.
