He was scoring goals, destroying defenses and proving himself on the biggest stage. Then came the Ballon d'Or, where he lost to Rodri despite having an incredible season. Many people believed he was robbed after everything he had accomplished. Ever since that moment it feels like something changed. His confidence, his performances and the magic he once had just haven't been the same. The player who used to take on anyone without fear now seems to struggle to find that same form. Maybe losing the Ballon d'Or affected him more than anyone expected. It's sad watching someone who once looked unstoppable slowly lose that spark. We all remember the nights when Vini made football look easy and made the whole world talk about him. I just hope he finds that confidence again and proves everyone wrong. Because we all know what he's capable of when he's at his best. I miss the old Vini.
