@purfectpawsittingdc: This is so hard for me. But, nonetheless, something I try to work on every day. Going to holy hour and adoration helps me with it significantly. It’s been very helpful in quieting the endless mind chatter. I like what St Alphonsus de Liguori says about adoration. It definitely rings true to my earlier statement: “Good friends find pleasure in one another’s company. Let us know pleasure in the company of our best Friend, a Friend who can do everything for us, a friend who loves us beyond measure.
