Hi, I’m in Hobby Lobby employee and this Saturday was a horrible fucking shift. The line was until the middle of the store. I don’t know how bad this Hobby Lobby was but mine was horrible. We still have a whole bunch of Christmas stuff in the back.

its Christmas time and we gonna be busy. FYI: Mr. Green keeps manual entering (no barcodes) so more humans can keep jobs. (job security) if we go to barcodes, next is self checkout and PEOPLE lose jobs. So we are thankful for job security. Patience is a virtue. Enjoy the season and love others.

I honestly love it, it makes me feel nostalgic that we have to wait in line, have all our stuff, hearing the clacking of the computer, make a day out of the shopping/holiday experience, chat with ppl in line, talk to the register worker etc… it’s nice 🤷♀️just be patient or let the lines work on you growing patience in this oh so fast paced world.

You guys realize even if they scanned things, it still takes a minute to check out this many people right? Especially when people are buying buggies full of products and some things need wrapped. Some customers want wooden things wrapped even. Like come on. If you don’t have patience, then don’t shop in store. Go online the way everyone else does at this point. If waiting in a line is the worst thing you’re experiencing in a day, I think you had a pretty good day overall 🤦🏽♀️

I think it’s hilarious when customers come in, see the line, and then continue to shop, then are forced to get into the SAME line they saw earlier and are surprised. Like genuine shock on their face. Gets me every time 😭
